MISSION AND VISION
Forge Independent Schools (FIS) is a nationally recognized (pending Cognia accreditation) independent school district comprised of diverse private schools. Founded and led by Ms. Renea L. Moss, Forge was formed to foster a series of pursuits that highlight, teach, and provide exciting, impressionable, and skill-worthy educational experiences.
FIS was created to reteach the way children and adults receive and approach life. The modern education system and social dynamics often imply that one must do what makes the most money even if one is unhappy. At FIS, passions and happiness are taken into consideration as one gains education and entertainment to nurture our students’ minds to foster a better society in this and the next generation.
Our focus is to provide a stimulating early education experience, preparing children in a healthy and supportive way that develops their self-belief, self-respect, and self-reliance.
Our goal is to provide a holistic and innovative approach to education to ensure our students are lifelong learners.
We believe that children thrive in an environment that values the uniqueness of each child and provides support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially, cognitively, physically, linguistically, and creatively, which is why we are dedicated to providing them with the most child-friendly environment they deserve.

We have all heard the expression, “If it ain’t broken, don’t try to fix it.” What happens when something is broken? What happens when our attempts to fix it make it worse? This is the education system today.
IT’S BROKEN! Irreconciably broken! Isn’t that the terminology used when two people endeavor to end their marriage? Neither party believes they can be in a successful union with the person they are legally espoused.
It is time we divorce the educational systems and processes in its’ current format and start over from the ground up.
The pandemic highlighted the numerous issues with how education is or isn’t being delivered. It was a prime opportunity to fix it. Yet, the effort to improve it is too much, so they place bandages and make slight repairs without correcting the busted foundation.
A friend of mine who is a contractor once told me that they would rather tear down an older building and build from scratch because trying to repair older buildings was more problematic. The educational system is old, and we need to tear it down. We need to redefine how it looks and its’ true purpose of providing a quality education that is beneficial to each individual and not the same instruction for ALL. As the founder of Forge Independent Schools, this is where we step in. Each school in our district has a unique focus for various types of learning. While still instilling the core academics, Forge strives not to repair education but change how it looks and is delivered. – “Renea L. Moss”

We accept McKay, Triple AAA, and StepUP Scholarships. Additionally, we offer several scholarships each year.
